Thursday, November 8... The Social Charity Club of GR did it again!  Together, we raised $1,110 for [Fashion Has Heart]... all because we 'stepped up for a great cause while stepping out at Flanagan's Irish Pub.'

The concept is simple: Social Charity Club of Grand Rapids takes place at a different local venue with a different local charitable beneficiary each month.

*$10 donation to charity = complimentary drink & appetizers for YOU!

The November 2012 event was dedicated to [Fashion Has Heart].

[Fashion Has Heart] is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that utilizes the power of art, design, and fashion to benefit the men and women wounded while serving our country.

[FHH] has created an initiative called the Corporal Hoffman Series, inspired by their work in 2011 with a wounded U.S. Marine, Corporal Josh Hoffman. This project series teams a wounded hero with an established artist/designer. Together, they collaborate to share that hero's inspiring story through graphic design. A [FHH] partner company then produces and markets their designed product for consumers to purchase.

Let's eat, drink, and be charitable, GR!
