July 3rd, 4th, & 5th are three of the "totally legal" fireworks' days under new Michigan law.

But if youre neighbor is going crazy at 12:01a on Tuesday the 3rd, you might still be able to call the cops and get some peace & quiet with the tips below.

If those using the fireworks are under 18 or under the influence of alcohol, they're doing so illegally no matter the time of day.  You can call the cops.

Also, the fireworks can only be used on private property, so if they're being shot in the street or landing outside the user's property, it is also illegal.

Some communities are still enforcing noise ordinances on fireworks even during holidays, you can call your local police and find out if your area is included.

If all else fails just call the police and say you think someone on Bath Salts is playing with matches. :)

Good luck!
