Bethany Christian Services presents Fostering Hope, a free introductory meeting to learn about the many different ways that you can provide hope to a youth in need. Come and learn about:
Foster Care -- Provide a loving, temporary home for a child during a time of crisis through this government-sponsored program.
JCJ -- Volunteer with the JCJ program, which provides a range of treatment and support services to court-involved youth/families. You could also provide a supportive home for a child during this time of transition.
Safe Families for Children -- Help parents who are experiencing a temporary crisis by becoming a host family for their children. You’ll give the children a safe, loving, temporary home while their parents address the circumstances that led to the crisis.
DUCS -- Provide a loving home for a refugee youth and assist the teen with the transition to living independently.
This event takes place on Monday, May 14th from 6:30pm til 8:30pm at the Herrick District Library, 300 S. River Avenue in Holland.
