Spreading its praise between accessible, star-driven movies and a handful of challenging films, the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. bestowed a leading seven Golden Globe nominations on Steven Spielberg's biography "Lincoln" while handing five nods apiece to Ben Affleck's international thriller, "Argo," and Quentin Tarantino's slavery revenge tale, "Django Unchained."

L.A. Reid Leaving "The X Factor" (Full Story: Access Hollywood)
L.A. Reid is leaving “The X Factor,” Access Hollywood can reveal.
“I have decided that I will not return to ‘The X Factor’ next year,” he told Access’ Shaun Robinson in an exclusive interview. “I have to go back and I have a company to run that I’ve kind of neglected and it saddens me a little bit, but only a little bit.”
L.A. said he needs to get back to business as the chairman and CEO of Epic Records.
“It was a nice break, it was a nice departure from what I’ve done for the past 20 years, but now I gotta go back to work,” he said.

Matt Damon Gets Naked With Michael Douglas (Full Story: E! Online)

Matt Damon is no stranger to real-life bromances (just ask Ben Affleck, John Krasinski, George Clooney, et al). But when it comes to the big screen, he's ditching his platonic pals and both getting naked and puckering up to Michael Douglas.
And he did so with gusto.
Speaking to Playboy magazine about his upcoming role opposite Douglas in the upcoming Steven Soderbergh-directed HBO flick, Damon said his previous aversion to dropping trou in front of the cameras went out the window in his latest role.
"Normally I'd say no to nudity, but I just did a lot of it playing the longterm partner of Liberace, Scott Thorson, in Behind the Candelabra," he said. "I mean, it's tastefully done...but the movie's not going to be for everyone.
"For one scene, I had to come out of the pool, go over to Michael Douglas, straddle him on a chaise lounge and start kissing him. It's not like I kiss him just once. We drew it up like a football plan."
