to those new comers looking to build upon it.
All different sub-genres of EDM are featured,
from progressive, tribal & electro house
to drum n bass & minimal techno.
Even 80s/90s classic freestyle dance.
It's different each week but one thing stays the same -
the hour is mixed by a LOCAL West Michigan area DJ.
We have such a HUGE talent pool of local EDM DJ's -
over 60 different DJ's have been featured
in this hour since it began in August 2010.

Okay, you already know that Holmes is the idiot that hosts The Freak Show here on 104-5 SNX each weeknight. So we'll just tell you that he's from Tampa, Florida & he misses his Florida breaks ALOT but doing this show gives him his dance/electronic fix each week. Throughout his 20+ year radio career, his dream radio gig has always been to program an all dance station similar to the former Energy 92.7/San Fran or Pulse 87/New York. Holmes was tremendously influenced by former dance stations Energy 92.7 & 5/Chicago, Party 93.1/Miami, 95.3 Party/Orlando, 103.5KTU/New York in it's first few years, & Mars 103.1-Grooveradio 103.1-Grooveradio.com/Los Angeles.
DJ Steve Swift has been spinnin since he was just 13 y/o, Now at the age of 22, Steve is currently at the forefront of bringing underground dance music to West Michigan. He started spinning at The Orbit Room & Maxum, then became a long time resident at Level & even longer-time resident at Crush & eve inside the B.O.B. in downtown Grand Rapids. Steve has even performed at Crobar/Chicago, one of the top nightclubs in the world, & has played alongside top DJ's including Mixin Marc, Alex Peace, Kenneth Thomas, Misstress Barbara & DJ Bam Bam. His first CD called "In and Out" hit the streets January 2007.
Steve has been a part of Club 104 Five since it began in early 2006 and currently mixes the 11pm hour of the show. And he has the best hair of any DJ in West Michigan. Just ask him.
