A charity poker establishment at a Byron Township restaurant was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. at TJ’s Charity Card Room at Russo’s Restaurant in the 6200 block of S. Division Avenue, according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Department.  WOOD TV reports says two suspects entered the restaurant through a rear door and took an undisclosed amount of money from customers and employees. At least one gun was used, police say.

No one was hurt.

The suspects were described two black males between the ages of 20 and 30. One was 6-foot-3 and 170 pounds, wearing a red bandana, black zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and black gloves. He was carrying a revolver, authorities say.

The other was described as 5-foot-11 and about 200 pounds. He was wearing a blue bandana around his face, black clothing and gloves.
