E L James Responds To "50 Shades" Casting Backlash
A LOT of people are bitching about the casting of Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson in the "50 Shades of Grey" movie. I've only run across a few people who are happy that Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey... those people are huge fans of "Sons of Anarchy."
The people who do not watch "Sons of Anarchy" are signing an online petition, asking producers to fire Charlie and Dakota and replace them with Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel. As of right now, that petition has over 17,000 signatures.
E L James, author of the "50 Shades" series, responded to the casting backlash (sort of) yesterday on Twitter...
To all the supporters, lovers and haters - thank you so much for the passion that you have for this project. You all rock. All of you. ♡— E L James (@E_L_James) September 2, 2013
One of the producers added...
There is a lot that goes into casting that isn't just looks. Talent, availability, their desire to do it, chemistry with other actor, etc.— Dana Brunetti (@DanaBrunetti) September 2, 2013
So if your favorite wasn't cast, then it is most likely due to something on that list. Keep that in mind while hating and keep perspective.— Dana Brunetti (@DanaBrunetti) September 2, 2013
Makes it sounds like Charlie and Dakota are the best they could get. : /
"American Idol" Has Officially Announced Its New Judges
Fox News has confirmed that the next "American Idol" judging panel will be: Keith Urban (we knew that, not his fault Nicki and Mariah couldn't stopping fighting), Jennifer Lopez (she's back and locked in at $17.5 million), AND Harry Connick Jr. (Diddy didn't want the third spot, so acting as a mentor before, Harry was the next logical choice).
Randy Jackson will also be around but not as a judge... maybe. Word is Randy will take over Jimmy Iovine's role as the in-house mentor. How much do you wanna bet Randy will end up sitting with the judging panel? Can't get rid of the dawg!
Farrah Abraham Thinks Feminism Means Lesbianism

While we've known she's not the brightest bulb in the bunch, we thought "Teen Mom" porn star Farrah Abraham would know whether or not she's a feminist.
Well... we were wrong. When the Miami New Times recently asked Farrah such a question, she responded with, quote, "What does that mean, you're a lesbian or something?"
Read more of Farrah's interview HERE... it's mind-numbing.
